When it comes to looking good on the course, golf apparel can rack up a hefty bill. Check out our favourite hacks for finding affordable fashion for the fairways...

Amazon

Bloggers LOVE Amazon fashion. It’s fast. It’s affordable. It’s on-trend. Golf apparel is no exception here.

There are plenty of social media Reels (Instagram) and TikToks that show favourite Amazon finds. Try searching with the hashtags #AmazonGolf and #AmazonFashion to find great apparel via social media.

Winners/Marshalls

Winners and Marshalls are big-box retailers that directly sell excess inventory from department stores and brands at a steep discount.

Though the names are different, Winners and Marshalls are both owned by the same parent company and operate essentially the same. Marshalls is American by nature, though they operate a number of Canadian locations too.

Every location is different and carries different stock and sizes. They typically restock new arrivals daily, although some locations have specific restock days. Ask an employee at your preferred store location to find out when.

Favourite brands found at Winners and Marshalls include Tommy Bahama Golf, Callaway, and Kyodan Golf. Sometimes you can even find golf shoes — our editors have seen a Nike pair or two!

Don’t skip the clearance rack! Bright red tags mean a reduction in price; it’s worth scouring through the racks here.

Costco

If you’re an avid TikTok-er or have joined any female golf community on Facebook, you have likely seen raves about Costco apparel for golf.

“I SWEAR by Costco for golf bottoms. They may not be marketed for the purpose, but I have found the best pants and skorts there, with my favourite find being a fleece-lined pair for Winter golf!” – Taylor, Women’s Golf Project Coordinator

Lately, one favourite fashion find is a $10 skort, though we’ve yet to see them in any West Coast stores!

Costco is also a great place for other golf accessories like gloves, balls, and socks. They even carry golf clubs in some locations!

Lululemon’s “We Made Too Much”

While Lululemon is often regarded as high-end athleisure, one can score a great deal in their “We Made Too Much” section.

“We Made Too Much” is Lululemon’s sale section. The section is stocked with items in previous season patterns and prints, styles that they are retiring, or those that they’ve made in too large of quantities.

Our favourite styles for golf include:

  • Stretch High-Rise Pant (7/8 length)
  • Pace Rival High Rise Skirt (extra-long length)
  • Quick-Drying Short Sleeve Polo
  • Down for it All Vest (for chilly rounds)

Pro Tip: We Made Too Much is stocked weekly on Thursdays with the best time to shop *supposedly* being 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. PST.

Shop online for the best selection as stores tend to carry limited sale inventory.

Lululemon even offers complimentary hemming and repairs as well as exceptional product warranties and great customer service.
