UBC’s Elizabeth Labbe shot a final-round 4-under-par 68 to erase a 4-stroke deficit to earn medalist honours, helping the Thunderbirds claim their second Cascade Conference Women’s Golf Championship and 10th straight victory of the season at Eagle Point Golf Club.

Labbe (76-68 – 144) recorded birdies on four of her first seven holes, with a birdie on the par-4 sixth hole (her 15th hole of the day) providing the difference, as she topped her teammate Sonja Tang (74-71 – 145), who caught fire and parred her final five holes.

UBC (298-292 – 590) dominated play to clinch the CCC title and automatic bid to the NAIA Championships, winning by 45-strokes over Oregon Tech (328-307 – 635) – who shaved 21 strokes off their opening-round score. Corban (335-328 – 663) placed third, two strokes ahead of Lewis-Clark State (340-325 – 665).
